Reliable power starts with reliable maintenance.

1) ACCESS CONDITIONS

  • Client must allow full access to all Solar panels, Inverters, Batteries, DB boards & wiring points.
  • The roof, ceilings, yards, and electrical rooms must be safely accessible.
  • Any locked areas must be opened by the client or authorised personnel .
  • Hazard areas must be cleared before work begins.

2) SAFETY CONDITIONS

  • All work areas must be free from dangerous animals, unstable structures, & hazardous materials.
  • Power may need to be switched off temporarily for safe inspection.
  • maintenance must follow SANS/IEC best practices.
  • No work will be performed during unsafe weather (rain. lightning, storms) for rooftop systems.

3) SYSTEM ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

  • Panels must be structurally secured.
  • Batteries must be accessible not sealed behind walls.
  • inverters & Charge controllers must be reachable
  • Systems with illegal wiring or tempering must be corrected before maintenance.
  • Correct earthing must be in place or installed as part of maintenance.
  • DB must be accessible not obstructed.
  • There must be a safe means of isolating power.
  • Exposed live parts should not be present before inspection.
  • Any pre-existing unsafe wiring must be noted and corrected if required.

4) CLIENT PREPARATION CONDITIONS

  • Client must inform staff or residents about the maintenance visit before technicians arrive.
  • Pets must be restrained for safety.
  • Sensitive electronics may need to be unplugged during electrical testing.
  • Breakers, generators, & solar systems may need to be turned off for testing.

5) PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Payment is made in advance unless otherwise agreed.
  • Regular maintenance plans must be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually.
  • Additional repairs outside the maintenance scope are charged separately.
  • Replacement parts must be approved and paid for by the client before installation.

6) CONDITIONS ON SCOPE OF WORK

  • Preventive maintenance identifies faults early & covers prevention, not full repairs.
  • The service includes cleaning, testing,  tightening, diagnostics, & reporting.
  • Major repairs, rewiring, or part replacement are not included unless specified.
  • The company provides recommendations but the client decides on extra repairs.

7) CONDITIONS ON REPORTING

  • A full inspection report will be provided after each visit.
  • Any faults found will be documented with recommendations.
  • Urgent hazards will be communicated immediately.

8) WARRANTY & LIABILITY CONDITIONS

  • Maintenance improves performance but does not guarantee the system's original installation quality.
  • Wrodtam Ventures (PVT)Ltd is not responsible for previous poor installations, hidden defects, or manufacturer faults.
  • Any damage caused by weather, misuse, or third-party technicians is outside scope.
  • Component warranties belong to the product manufacturer.

9) SCHEDULING & AVAILABILITY CONDITIONS

  • Maintenance visits must be booked & paid for in advance.
  • Emergency visits may incur additional charges.
  • Missed appointments by the client may attract a call-out fee.

10) CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the system is installed legally and safely.
  • Follow recommendations to prevent recurring issues.
  • Avoid tempering with settings after maintenance.
  • Report any abnormalities early.

     


     

Return, Refund & Hire Policy

This policy applies to all products sold or hired from Wrodtam Ventures (PVT)Ltd through our e-commerce platform, physical stores or delivery partners.


A. GOODS SOLD

Returns (Non-Faulty Goods)

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • Delivery, handling, and transaction fees are non-refundable.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

  • Faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Items will be inspected and tested before approval.

  • Customers are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Zimbabwe Consumer Protection Act.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where available.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Used or installed electrical equipment

  • Batteries, chargers, lubricants, and consumables once opened

  • Clearance, discounted, or sale items

  • Special-order or custom products

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 working days.

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method.


B. GOODS HIRED (RENTAL ITEMS)

Hire Conditions

  • Hired goods must be returned in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.

  • Customers are responsible for loss, theft, misuse, or damage.

Cancellations & Early Returns

  • Cancellations before dispatch/collection may incur an administration fee.

  • No refunds for early returns or unused hire time.

Late Returns

  • Late returns attract daily penalty charges.

  • Failure to return equipment may result in full replacement costs.
